Overview:
After seeing how effective the Fronc Voltigeur and the Colonial Marshal ProtoMechs turned out to be in action, the Taurian Concordat authorized the creation of a ProtoMech design of their own. They called for a design with extreme mobility, heavy armor, and heavy weapons, a truely combat-capable ProtoMech. The Matador was the result of that program.

Capabilities:
Capable of maintaining formation with any Taurian OmniMech lance, and even the more specialty Musketeer design, the Matador is a swift and agile design thanks to the integral jump jets. The designers also gave her enough armor to survive hits from anything up to a gauss rifle, and battleroms have shown some of them surviving even a full frontal barrage from an assault-sized autocannon. Matador pilots are very happy to know just how much protection they have when they go into battle. They also love the set of rocket launchers in the chest and the main laser weapon that can threaten BattleMechs.

Deployment
The Matador is used both by the Taurian Concordat and by the Fronc Federation, both of whom value its mobility, armor, and armament.
